I have completed my second week as a missionary! I am tired, yet full of so much joy. This week I have learned so much about the Good News. The Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As my knowledge increases so does my love. The Good News is that death and hell can be escaped, that mistakes and sin can be overcome, that there is hope, and there is help. The Good News is that the tomb was empty; and that everyone's tomb can one day be empty, that everyone's soul can be pure, and that every child of God can return to the father who gave them life. This Good News is Jesus, Messiah, Holy One, Bread of Life, The Great I AM, Lamb of God, Living Water, The Light and Life of the World, Advocate, Tree of Life, Master, Counselor, Anchor, The Word, Servant, Brother, Prince of Peace, Alpha and Omega, True Vine, Mediator, Begotten Son, Redeemer, Author and Finisher of our Faith, Carpenter, Teacher, Eternal Life, The Everlasting Father, Wonderful, Shepard, Almighty, Anointed One Today ...

letter to President Cowley 11/22/21

President Cowley!!! I am so excited to be writing you! I think it is so special that we are able to write you and tell you how we are and share our weekly moments. MY FIRST WEEK IN THE FIELD. Wow this is kinda crazy and I don't think it has completely soaked in my brain yet. Let me give you a quick recap of my week: Lots of tears were shed before getting on the plane as my family dropped me off and we said our goodbyes but I kept telling myself I am the Lord's now and I will do His work no matter how difficult. Traveling was fine! I love love love love love love Sister Cowley. You were right; as soon as she greeted me at the airport she gave me a big hug and I already felt her love. I am so thankful we were able to stay the night it truly helped me to feel my comfortable. From there out it was just a bunch of accepting the feeling of uncertainty. The first couple days I was in a slight daze ( maybe still am a little bit ) but I am slowly feeling more and more ...
